Getting to Puerto El Morro is just very easy:

By car from Guayaquil:

1.- Get on the road “Vía a la Costa” (E-40, towards the coast) and once you get to “Progreso”, you take the road towards “General Villamil” (Playas).
2.- Once you are approaching “Playas”, you will drive by a Traffic Police Control. Please continue on the same street, straight ahead to the first traffic light.
3.- On this first traffic light turn left and keep driving on the main street until you find the welcome sign “El Morro” and three minutes later, you will get to “Puerto El Morro” .

By bus:
To get to this rural area of Guayaquil by means of public transportation, you can take any bus that takes you to General Villamil (Playas), which costs around $2.40 USD. Once you are in Playas, please get off at the first traffic light. There take any bus that goes up to El Morro and Puerto El Morro, which costs 50 cents.
